Field observations are categorized into an electronic field coding system that creates symbols and linework for the final map upon downloading the raw data. Century Survey employs technicians with strong backgrounds in engineering design concepts. These field team members are able to retrieve data that is needed for design upon the first trip to the site. Field members are also able to detect potential problem areas on the site, and work with designers to clarify such issues during the initial survey process.
